Gerald Pörschmann

Executive Board Member of Zukunftsallianz Maschinenbau e.V.

Mr Gerald Pörschmann, has been an Executive Board Member and Managing Director of the non-profit initiative and supra-regional innovation network Zukunftsallianz Maschinenbau e.V. (Alliance for the Future of Industrial Engineering) since its founding in April 2015. The network consists of enterprises in the fields of mechanical engineering and industrial automation, as well as system suppliers, engineering partners and research institutes for production technology. Its aim is to strengthen the global competitiveness of businesses in these fields with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. The network’s catchment area covers the economic zone in northern Germany, above Frankfurt am Main. Since October 2014, Mr Pörschmann is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Institut für Unternehmenskybernetik e.V. (Institute for Business Cybernetics) at the RWTH Aachen University​)
